Hey First Mate is US$25/year, renewing annually. There is no free trial.
Creating your account and setting up your boat are free. Your first charge happens only if you choose to authorize a subscription later.
If you later subscribe: A card is required now and the first total US$25 charge is due immediately. Any tax that Hey First Mate is registered and required to collect is included within that US$25 total and is not added on top. The subscription renews annually at the then-current total subscription price unless you cancel. There is no free trial. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your paid year — you keep full access until then, and the fee already paid is not refunded, except where required by law or to correct a billing error.
Your paid membership year includes 50 delivered chat answers, approximately 50 minutes of text-to-speech voice playback, approximately 50 minutes of speech-to-text voice transcription, and analysis of 50 individual photos. Unused allowances do not roll over and reset only after a successful annual renewal. Manual Logbook entries, service records, reminders, inventory, and other manual features are not AI-metered while your membership is active, subject to ordinary storage, upload, abuse-prevention, and safety limits. Reaching one AI allowance stops only that AI category.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through Billing & Usage, which opens Stripe's secure customer portal, or by contacting Hey First Mate support. At our discretion, we may issue refunds, credits, or billing adjustments in cases of documented billing errors.
